Chaotic Triumph
Dani DaOrtiz shares with you a Triumph effect so chaotic that it has to use the entire audience. The entire audience thinks of cards, and every thought of card ends up being the only face-up cards in the deck despite the whole audience shuffling the deck face-up and face-down. Now set up in easy-to-follow chapters of The What, The How, and The Way, learning the magic of Dani DaOrtiz is even easier than ever before.
The What
The magician hands the deck to an audience member to shuffle and then hands out small packets of cards to the audience to shuffle. These packets are thoroughly mixed. Everyone confirms that they have between four and eight cards while shuffling their cards. Everyone removes one card from their packet and puts it on the table. They shuffle their packets again, then take any card from their packet and turn it face up while placing it back in the middle of their packet. Everyone remembers the card that they removed from their packet and then places it on the top or bottom of the packet. It’s their choice. Then everyone passes one or two cards from the top to the bottom based on when they are born. Now they turn cards up and down and cut and complete their packets and shuffle again. Everyone spreads their packets to see that everyone has a different number of cards face up and face down. More cards are passed from the top to the bottom and randomly turned face-up and face-down. The magician collects the chaos-influenced packets and spreads the deck to show that the deck is completely mixed face-up and face-down. On the count of three, everyone remembering a card is instructed to dive into the deck and grab the card they remembered. Impossibly the only cards that are taken are the face-up ones, leaving the rest of the deck face-down on the deck. Every single participant has found their card. Despite all of the chaotic shuffling, the only face-up cards were the thought-of cards.
The How
The first thing that happens after you see this amazing effect is that Dani immediately teaches you this incredible trick. The Chaotic Triumph is so easy to perform. All you have to do is remember Dani’s special shuffling sequence, and the trick works by itself. This effect gets a large group of people involved in the insanity that hides the secret of this wonderful trick in plain sight.
The Why
Here is where Dani breaks down the true secrets of Chaos. You’ll learn to kill the robot. Don’t worry; you won’t be traveling back to save Sarah Conner from The Terminator. You’ll be learning to take self-working mathematical tricks and insert naturality. You’ll be able to take the lessons you learn from this and hide the mathematical procedures in your own self-working tricks. This philosophy is the key to how Dani has fooled the best magicians in the world.
