MOBILE is a procedure for close-up linking rings that can be done in stand-up. The linking ring plot is one of the plots that I have studied for a long time for both close-up and stage. In this MOBILE, I explain the procedure that I created with the theme of “I won’t let you chase even with a few rings” for stage use, but replaced it with close-up rings. I mainly explain the technique and procedure using only two rings, but I hope that I can convey through this work that it is a plot that can be fully enjoyed even with a few rings. *Any manufacturer’s set of four regular close-up linking rings can be used for the performance. I also explain the procedure using all four rings. *I am left-handed, but all the images and names are reversed left and right for explanation. The explanation format is audio commentary. <Contents> â– INTRODUCTION -Greetings. â– RINGS -About the rings used. I explain the names of each ring and the adjustment of the gimmick. â– BASIC METHOD -An explanation of the basic technique. This is an orthodox linking and unlinking technique that involves rubbing two rings together. â– CRUSH LINK -An explanation of the basic technique. This is a linking technique that involves hitting two rings together to connect them, and then removing the rings from that connection. â– CLOCK -A variation of the “BASIC METHOD”. This simple technique is packed with ideas to keep the magician from following you. â– DROP -The two rings connect as you rotate them, and then the two rings come off right before your eyes. This is a highly difficult but highly esoteric linking and unlinking technique. â– SLOW -A method that uses time misdirection. The two rings connect and then come off when you slowly bring them closer together. â– PUSH -A special unlinking technique. The two connected rings are removed by pushing them out with your fingers. â– 2 RINGS ROUTINE -A routine that uses two rings. â– 4 RINGS ROUTINE -A routine that uses four rings. This routine explains the technique of connecting all the separate rings at the same time, and then how to remove them with unusual handling. â– PALM UP DISPLAY – Bonus technique. A display where the hand holding the key is completely open. â– HEEL HOOK – Bonus technique. A technique to make a ring that has already come off look like it is still attached
